Helicopter kit excl. engine, Ø 2500 mm
The XLV Trainer is a remarkably large model helicopter, and cannot fail to impress in the air with its rotor disc diameter of 2500 mm.
The slow-spinning rotor is a sight to make any modelling heart beat faster. This model is based around the G230 petrol engine with a special silencer system.
The 31 mm Ø tail boom houses an 8 mm Ø stainless steel tail rotor shaft driving the heavy-duty tail rotor. A 2-blade rotor head with a blade throat of 22 mm is mounted on the 12 mm Ø main rotor shaft.
The cabin is made of GRP with carbon glazing.
The tail boom can easily be removed for ease of transport.
